Established in 1979 BFS initially manufactured ship components such as Wheelhouses and Propeller Nozzles.

Having accrued a reputation for quality products, excellent craftsmanship and being located in East Anglia a transition to Oil & Gas came naturally.

BFS first Oil & Gas contract award was to complete the hook-up of a new Offshore Platform in the early 80s.

This project evolved to the manufacture of 100s of tonnes of Structural Steel and associated pipework.

To this day BFS have multiple framework agreements with Tier 1 and 2 companies in the Southern North Sea (SNS), North North Sea (NNS) and much further afield, with products for the Oil & Gas industry being our core strength.
